Our Charitable Purpose is …for the public benefit in the area comprising Alnwick:
- To promote high standards of planning and architecture
- To educate the public in the geography, history, natural history and architecture of the area
- To secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest
The society provides a voice for members, organises public meetings, develops publications, and engages in a variety of other activities.
All who share our aims can support our work: by joining as an individual, family or corporate member; by participating in activities, sharing ideas, raising areas of concern and pointing out examples of good practice. Or simply by demonstrating pride in our town, and spreading the word about the value of our work.
